Last updated: 8th April, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Taxscio platform, operated by Altascio. By creating an account or using any part of our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Taxscio — whether through our website, web application, API, or any related service — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
If you are using Taxscio on behalf of a CPA firm, accounting practice, or other organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and references to "you" shall apply to both you and that entity.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes via email or an in-platform notification.
Description of Service
Taxscio is a pre-filing workflow automation platform built for CPA firms. It automates the work between client intake and your filing software — including document handling, data extraction, checklist management, and preparation workflows — so your team can focus on accuracy and review.
The platform offers the following core services:
| Feature | Description |
|---|---|
| Document Intake | Automated ingestion and classification of client-submitted documents across all common formats. |
| Data Extraction | AI-assisted extraction of key data fields from tax documents, reducing manual entry and review time. |
| Pre-Filing Checklists | Dynamic, rule-based checklists that track document completeness and flag missing items before filing. |
| Workflow Automation | Configurable workflow stages that route work across your team from intake to review to handoff. |
| Accuracy Checks | Automated cross-validation of extracted data against prior-year returns and expected field logic. |
| Integrations | Connections to leading tax filing software and document management systems via secure APIs. |
| Reporting & Visibility | Real-time dashboards showing return status, team workload, and pre-filing bottlenecks across your firm. |
Taxscio is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.
